"Fantastic cosy room. Lovely shower , comfy bed. The check in is via phone and a key safe . The room was well stocked and very clean. Main problem is the doors to rooms don’t have quiet closing so when the ignorant other guests go in and out there is constant slamming of doors. We stayed in the room with exposed beams and it was very well thought out . Good for walking holiday due to location."

"The hotel was lovely and our room was excellent. We can't fault any of the staff as they were friendly and helpful. The only thing we had an issue with was the catering for the evening meals. On the 2 nights we ate in the restaurant there were several meals and additional dishes that weren't available on both nights. "We arrived tired after a very long walk and whilst not particularly coherent, the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable and welcomed. We felt like locals within 5 minutes (especially from Jonathan) and cannot thank the team enough for how easy they made our stay. We plan to return for dinner when more awake so we can fully enjoy the setting, menu and atmosphere. Thank you so much to all the team for being so accommodating!"
