"The lock on our assigned room malfunctioned so we were moved to an adjacent room. That room was adequate, though the bathroom was very small and thus awkward to use. Standard pub fare was provided for lunch and dinner - nothing to get excited about. Breakfast, however, was excellent and served in a room functioning as a coffee shop for nearby railway customers (their coffee is good). "The pub is friendly with good food and staff. The separate block which houses the bedrooms looks boring but the bedrooms inside are incredibly beautiful. I enjoyed underfloor heating in the bathroom and the lovely views of the countryside. "
