"This charming castle is truly a gem among Umbrian fields. Set on a hill, it's a very well-maintained and clean hotel, with a pool overlooking the nearby valley. The staff was amazing, and especially Daniela at the reception desk who made us feel like at home. She had lots of recommendations of things to do in the area and made sure we had vegan and vegetarian options at breakfast. "Fascino "medievale", ambienti puliti ed accoglienti ed il silenzio che non guasta la permanenza"

"Standard room. Nothing fancy but fine for an overnight. "

"Friendly staff, clean rooms, and good parking. Hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the train station where you can take the cable car up to the old city. Best if you have a car since there is free parking below the train station and you’ll need to take the cable car into the old city. Breakfast is fair and available daily. Sound travels from the hallway as well as the street below, esp if you have your window open. AC is in the room but seemed to be hard to modify and the room stayed warm....

"A eclectic rural property with family at its heart. The staff could not have been more kind or helpful. If you like off grid then this is the place! Car is a must for seeing the delights of Orvetio. "
