ITC Grand Chola is already known for its world-class service, but people like Kaamini make it exceptional. "I have stayed in all five stars in Chennai many times and Hyatt always best for comfort, staff attention and service. Special thanks to reception staff for excellent check in and ensuring quiet room as requested. Perfect sleep and great breakfast and also enjoyed spa and pool. Just wish they didn’t blare pop music in garden at breakfast time. Lotus pond is special area and gentle traditional Indian music would be more in keeping in morning, Bring earplugs to breakfast if you don’t want loud pop music at 8am! That aside I highly recommend this hotel over both the Leela Palace and ITC Chola. "
