Hotel Dekat Cheanuh Marina

"Overall the Sooke Harbour House had a feel of a luxury boutique hotel/resort. It was so enjoyable to stay on the property for sunset drinks on our room's deck, then a short walk to the dining room for an elegant meal either in the covered patio area or dining room. The bed was so comfortable with crisp sheets that it was hard to have to get up in the morning! But a nice stroll of the property and adjacent nature walk with a coffee and delicious pastry made in house from the attached coffee bar...

"Lots of farm animals to see. Lots of land to enjoy. Very spacious and well-appointed room. Wonderful library room, living room, and dining room. A very unique place to stay. I wish we could have stayed longer than one night. Only one confusing thing - a wrapped piece of chocolate placed into the decorative fold of a towel was mistaken by one of us as a small bar of soap and used as such, but only one."

"Absolutely amazing experience at Rosemead House. It is like stepping into a magical wonderland. Beautiful property, building, rooms, restaurant. Delicious breakfast in an adorable setting. We weren't able to have dinner at the renowned restaurant, but will definitely go back again to enjoy that experience which is supposed to be sensational. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. HIGHLY recommend Rosemead and can't wait to visit again!!"

"Very clean, spacious, well equipped suite. A great extended stay facility with restaurants, grocery, etc. nearby. The combination entry door never worked properly and was frustrating to deal with. Staff tried to be helpful but they are clearly understaffed."

"Beautiful property and very helpful staff. The hotel stance is the pool is kid friendly, but some of the "regulars" that want to swim laps are very rude even though there are adult only times for them. The extra activities sound so cute but are very expensive. 10/10 would stay here again for a romantic adult only stay, not the greatest with kids. Also I was grateful to have missed the heat the week before, because the hotel doesn't have air conditioning. I like that they are eco friendly, but...

"My only concern was that the valet parking was actually an outside lot under trees. Our car was covered in aphid goo for $34 a day :("

"Super clean, very easily situated in the heart of Downtown Victoria. The staff at the front desk are super helpful and it's nice how its 24 hours reception. My go-to hotel whenever I stay in Victoria for always being consistently clean with friendly staff."
