"Grand house with character in the nice part of town only a 7 min walk to the cathedral. Easy on-street parking. House has a slightly quirky museum-esque feel to it with lots of statues and busts dotted around the place. Room was spacious, bed was huge, shower was excellent and everything felt very clean. Breakfast was simple (cereal, bread, fabulous croissants and fruit) but substantial. Would recommend. "

"Not your usual stop over hotel, this seems to be a wedding venue that also lets rooms when they can. The house and grounds are amazing and a real privilege to visit. Friendly staff. Couldn’t get the EV charging to work, seemed to be an older Tesla charger."

We came away without the children for a weekend of peace & quiet but the family have children and a baby, the baby cried during the day and in the evening we heard a lot of banging on the floor above our room. It’s not pleasant if you want time away from kids. "Nice stay with no problems and everything went smoothly. The location is beautiful with some lovely old buildings in the proximity including a particularly nice chateau. A good continental with good ingredients too. Handy for the autoroute We would go again."
