Grand house with character in the nice part of town only a 7 min walk to the cathedral. Easy on-street parking. House has a slightly quirky museum-esque feel to it with lots of statues and busts dotted around the place. Room was spacious, bed was huge, shower was excellent and everything felt very clean. Breakfast was simple (cereal, bread, fabulous croissants and fruit) but substantial. Would recommend.

If you are going to Soissons then we would highly recommend you stay at this property . It was amazing , the bed was so comfortable and the ambiance of the house was delightful, our host was excellent and went out of his way to look after us , giving us an early breakfast so we could get an early train . House was within easy reach of the train station in a very high class part of the town

Lovely period property, beautifully restored with appropriate and comfortable furniture. We stayed in the Gauguin Room on the top floor, which was wonderful. Guillaume and Daniel were perfect hosts. Within walking distance of the abbey and the cathedral. Only dropped one star because the toiletries consisted only of soap by the sink and no bathrobes as per the advert. However, the photos on Expedia are not up to date and it's so much better than they show. We'd definitely stay here again.

Located on a beautiful street about 10 minute walk from the river/centre. Remember to contact the owners before arrival as its not manned , i forgot but they were very helpful and arrived in 15 mins. Fabulous traditional French house. Large rooms with kitchen area. Lovely continental breakfast. Highly recommend

Tolles Zimmer (eigentlich eine Suite mit Bad und kleiner Küche) in einer alten Villa. Liebevoll ausgestattet und dekoriert. Altstadt und Kathedrale nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Haus. Ladesäulen für E-Autos ca. 300m entfernt. Französiches Frühstück in herrschaftlichem Speisesaal. Netter und humorvoller Empfang und guter Service.

Location atypique au rapport qualité prix exceptionnel pour cette chambre située dans une cave 18-19e siècle. Equipement haut de gamme ! J'aurais pu mettre 5 étoiles sans les réflexions désagréables du responsable contacté lors de mon arrivée tardive pour m'expliquer que j'aurais du l'appeler pour confirmer ma réservation et que je n'ai pas lu les informations concernant cette dernière bien que l'adresse confirmée par hotel.com soit erronée (un autre gite du propriétaire situé à 2 km). Bref réglez vos problèmes entre vous et épargnez moi vos remarques. Finalement bien accueilli par une personne charmante et la visite des lieux fut très enrichissante. Je recommande vivement pour un week-end en amoureux !
