"I arrived at the hotel at 7:30 p.m and nd was told my room was not ready and that it was supposed to be ready at 4:00 p.m. They then made me wait another half hour before I was finally allowed to enter the room at 8:00 p.m. They made sure to tell me that the checkout time was still 11:00 a.m. the next day. For $200 a night I would expect a lot more. I was very disappointed. The bed was comfortable and I made the best of it, but I wouldn't stay there again."

"Hotel was clean and well maintained. We arrived around 8:00pm and decided to eat at the restaurant on property. We were surprised to be told that the kitchen closes at 9:00. It’s a Casino Hotel. Food was average and staff friendly but not well trained. Our server did not know how to open the bottle of wine we ordered but was very grateful we taught her. Also disappointed that they only clean the room every 3 days. When we requested fresh towels they left a bag of towels outside our room...

"We felt very welcomed by the staff who were very attentive. The hotel is spotless and the coffee and tea in the lobby is a nice gesture. For the price this is a bargain as well as a great experience."

"We booked this room because there was a pool and breakfast, and both were disappointing. The pool looked like it had a film over it of some kind of dust or something and needed to be skimmed, the breakfast was bagels and mini muffins, not terrible, but by booking a hotel with breakfast I was hoping to avoid buying breakfast which we still had to do. "We had reserved a bay view room. The view was amazing. It was also in a quieter area of Traverse City. We had issues with our refrigerator while there and they changed out the unit for us. I really appreciated the daily room service. I wasn't expecting that. I would absolutely stay here again!"

"Property was clean and well located. Breakfast supplies were reasonable but not amazing. They didn’t have salt for breakfast- and didn’t seem concerned about lack of salt shakers (they had two pepper shakers - but a trip to dollar store to buy salt seemed in order). Saw another guest complaining that their bathroom lacked a shower curtain. Front desk couldn’t point to hotel location on tourist map for me so that I could get my bearings - thank goodness for phone map!"

"We had a wonderful two night stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They privided us with extra coffee and creamer for our room upon request. There is an excellent restaurant at the hotel. We had a tasty breakfast one morning and also happy hour drinks and appetizers. I would definitely stay here again."
