The hotel is in a beautiful location right on the beach. Then it is only a 10 minute walk into Chania old town and it’s a great view the whole way. The rooms are clean and the staff were helpful. There is a few parking spaces right on the property then a small satellite lot a minute down the road. We had no issues parking in the main lot when we did drive for the day. My husband and I would definitely stay here again.

We had such a fantastic stay here. The large balcony and sea / beach views were phenomenal. Such an amazing room with fabulous shower room and lots of space. Great to watch the sunset over the sea from the balcony. The breakfasts were delicious, again with the wonderful sea view. We loved the private beach area with dedicated sun beds included in the hotel cost. The beach and sea were lovely to swim in too. Really friendly and helpful staff.

Great stay at Edgewater Hotel. Irina checked us in and couldn’t have been warmer and more helpful. Our room looked out over the water which was such a treat. We had a nice roomy suite with a sofa. Cleaners were good and unobtrusive. Breakfast was usual buffet fare and they were great about bringing us lattes from the bar downstairs. My only criticism and it is a small one is that had a hard time getting more than lukewarm water in the shower. Other than that, we had a great time.

My second visit to this friendly spotless convenient luxury hotel. Likely to become my home from home. Thanks to all the staff and I appreciate the surprise complimentary bottle of wine and note left in my room.

Thank you to all the friendly staff for a nice stay especially the lovely Irene on Reception. This is the only hotel on the beach that provides free luxury loungers and umbrellas saving you 20 euros each day.

The rooms are clean, new, facing the beach and the sunset. It’s beach front with complementary sunbeds. It’s on the boardwalk into the harbor. Quiet despite being on the boardwalk. Restaurants and bakeries close by. The manager gave us free ice coffee for our trip back to the airport! Highly recommend this hotel!

Absolutely incredible stay! This was easily one of my favourite stays, and I would 100% come back again if I return to Chania. The beach is literally right there, and we had our own little beach beds and umbrella included at no extra cost, which was amazing. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, and the ocean view was incredible. The breakfast was also very good with plenty of options, and the staff were all so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We arrived quite early, and they were kind enough to have our room ready well before the usual check-in time, which we really appreciated. There are also quite a few great dining options nearby, and it’s only about a 15-minute walk to the main port. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend it. 10/10 — would definitely stay here again!

Cet hôtel à taille humaine et au personnel plus qu'adorable ne pourrait pas être mieux situé : des sunsets inoubliables depuis la terrasse et juste en face de la plage toujours abritée. Les chambres sont modernes, propres, et ultra-confortables. Le petit-déjeuner est très agréable ( en terrasse lui aussi ) et offre tout ce qu'il faut - le pain est délicieux ! Un vrai bonheur, merci encore à toute l'équipe pour ces moments de totale sérénité :)

We loved our stay. The hotel is new, rooms were in great condition. The location is perfect. Beach is literally in front of the hotel with chairs for hotel guests. A nice restaurant and bar and multiple options are also close. It was a 10 minute walk to the old harbor area which was nice. I highly recommend this property. The employees were all incredibly friendly and helpful.

Our room faced the water with a large deck; it was perfect! The staff were welcoming and helpful, everyone from the front desk to housekeeping. Very good restaurants within a few blocks in either direction and Olde Town is a lovely area for shopping and day trips by boats or horse-drawn carriage. Excellent. Highly recommended!! I am already planning my next visit!!

The hotel itself was great. Very nice rooms with a fantastic sea view. The staff, not so much. We were told not to book restaurants in advance , they would assist us in booking the best places. On arrival we asked about them and were told “oh we have a restaurant here!”. When asking about OTHER places we were told by the manager “I don’t live around here so I really don’t know.” Really?!! We were also told that there was ample parking at the hotel. There were 7 spots, always full, and a dirt overflow lot 2 blocks away. The restaurant that they claimed was open from 3 until 11 (in their printed hotel info), was actually not open until 6:30. I only found this out when trying to get an afternoon snack, only to be told the kitchen was closed. Also, breakfast isn’t served until 8:30 in the morning, so if you have an early excursion, you’re on your own. This hotel had the potential to be very nice. The facilities themselves are in a great location with nice views. However, the attitude of the manager and the bad information that was given to us made this one of our worst hotels of our vacation.

Rarely do we ever stay in a hotel when we can’t find some little thing wrong. EdgeWater beach hotel was absolutely perfect! Nothing needed maintenance. Nothing needed painting touch ups. The curtains worked perfectly as did the sliding balcony doors. The location could not have been better and the private beach area was beautiful. Helen at the front desk was so helpful and knowledgeable. We can hardly wait to return!
