"This place is a perfect base to explore Reims . We parked in the car park upstairs , outside for free ( there is underground parking on site too ) The room was nice , overlooking the river .. from the hotel it’s walkable to the Cathedral quarter ( 10/12mins stroll ) and there’s a wealth of restaurant choices and bars there . This seemed a very walkable and safe city and the Mercure is a nice easy , cost effective hotel to use as a base for a visit . "

"This is our second stay at this hotel and we will definitely return. It’s everything you need at a sensible price with secure parking and parkland outside to stretch your legs after a long drive. There are trams from outside the door that run into the centre of Reims. We stayed on a Monday and found all the local restaurants closed, but it isn’t a problem as food is served in house.
