"The value for the property is my main issue. Expect to be up charged for everything. They don’t even provide lotions or anything spa related in the room. They charge extra for the sauna and the hours are very limited (opens at noon! And closes early). Spa is more of an add on than a hotel experience. the breakfast was good and so was the location. Only recommend the lake view rooms otherwise your room overlooks a parking lot. The woman kindly offered an upgrade at check in but for a surcharge....

"What a lovely place to spend a short break. The selling point of this hotel is the location and the views of the lake. It’s just so convenient and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go without worrying about transport. We did have a slight drainage issue in our room but were moved to another room without fuss and the reception staff were helpful and accommodating. "The property was nice and our room was comfortable although it was supposed to be non smoking and there was an ashtray in it and a cig but in the window. No AC at this hotel and it was hot. The breakfast was ok but eggs were always burnt. The staff was very nice except for the lady who checked us in the first night. "Der Unterkunft befindet sich in einem wunderschönen Ort. Mann kann dort die Natur richtig genießen. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit (aber die könnten noch mehr freundlicher sein). Zusätzlich, gab es noch eine Sache, in der Dusche an der Decke gab es schimmel und Feuchtigkeit mit ein paar Spinnennetz an einigen Ecken. "Don’t let the term hostel deter you from booking this wonderful hotel. While they do have bunk rooms with shared bathrooms, we booked a beautiful room with ensuite bath. It was quiet and extremely clean. The location of the hotel is walkable from train or bus stations and is in the heart of the historic area of a lovely town. The view from the hostels back terrace and our bedroom was amazing. "
