"It’s all about the location at the top of a mountain overlooking a jewel box of a church. This grand hotel was built in the early 1900’s. It has been renovated but is definitely an older property. Room was comfortable and the view was AMAZING. Breakfast was wonderful. "

"This was my favorite hotel during my trip to Portugal! My room at the hotel was very nice. The breakfast was excellent. And the staff were excellent as well. The location is within walking distance of the castle, shopping and also very good restaurants. The hotel has a Michelin restaurant. We ate there and it is excellent."
