"It is in a residential area :10 minutes walk from bus terminal and about 15 minutes to the city center. Ask for a taxi transfer if you have heavy luggage or wheeled luggage. The cottage house is among the most beautiful, we have stayed in, with tasteful collections, overlooking a garden with lupines and a far view of lake argentina. Hosts, living close by, are very responsive, helpful and hospitable. We enjoyed our stay and hope to have spent substantial more time . "

"The Esplendor was a really great hotel and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to El Calafate! The staff was super friendly at the desk and in the restaurant, parking is easy, and it’s a quick walk from town but set back enough to be quiet. The rooms are large, comfortable, and well decorated. Really had an amazing stay! "
