Basov is a lovely old town in the hills Transylvania. It makes a nice base to visit various Dracula and Vampire related sites of the area. You can also pick up various Medieval torture related trinkets if that's your kind of souvenir.

"This was a good find. We had 8 rooms, all of which had unique layouts, but were all clean and comfortable. There are numerous communal areas as well for hanging out (a garden with seating, a full kitchen and eating area with a great view, and a living room type area). The check-in and breakfast were in a nearby building, which wasn't an issue at all. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good."

"Our stay here was great. We were made to feel welcome and the staff were very helpful when we needed them. We had a deluxe double room which was very spacious and the bed comfortable.
