"We had had a negative experience with a nearby property and had to cancel after one day. We found this hotel to be very clean – it’s clear there had been renovations since some of the older negative posts. The real High Point is the staff. They are very accommodating and truly wanted to make us all (3 rooms) comfortable. This is a pretty basic hotel and a good value for the money, but the excellent staff makes it special."
