The accommodation is nice and clean. The breakfast was well prepared. The hosts are friendly. Sandro helped us to book the taxi to the airport.

Nice and clean place

B&B place with private owned couple. Very nice owners and a nice place to stay. Simple breakfast included and rooms were spacious and clean. The owners were nice and helpful. About 25min walk distance to the Catania center railway station and all the sights in the center. Would definently recommend to others.

Check the location

This property is not near the sea nor can you see Etna, it a 6th floor apartment in a noisy town centre with limited parking and a street view. guess we should have read the description a little more closely, Aircon turned off for season so hot stuffy room at night or traffic noise keeping you awake is your choice here, lots of rules, no food allowed etc the apartment was OK for what it is, surveillance cameras in door and communal areas.

Read carefully

Check in was difficult. No contact with instructions for check in. Had to call from the security door outside the building. Owner was difficult and abrasive. We booked two rooms. Both were extremely outdated. One refrigerator, which is in the halls between rooms and contained only space for items to purchase. One room had no bath towels upon arrival. Both units had mold or mildew in the showers. The location is extremely inconvenient necessitating a car to drive to anything of interest or need. The provided breakfast is three blocks away and consists of a pastry and a coffee. Despite the listing, there are no blackout curtains only transparent drapes, which allows lights from across the street shine brightly into the room at night. Please read the negative reviews before booking. Negative reviews receive vindictive, attacking, disrespectful responses from the owner. Wish we would have seen them before booking. We stayed in six separate locations during our three weeks in Sicily and this was by far the worst experience.

Not suitable for family with young children, very tight breakfast timing 7.30-9.00am, which is a 5 minute walk from the accommodation which is a coffee with a sweet pastry (no other options available), refused service even if 5 minutes late. No food can be eaten or stored in the room, no fridge or kettle in the room. Also check in was 12.30pm, but had to wait until 1.30pm as the rooms were still being cleaned. Felt the owner was not very understanding with young children who explicitly stated this is not a hotel. Terrace is also very high on the 6th floor, with a short landing, which is very dizzying, with grills not safe for young children. Accommodation was clean, however note rooms are not cleaned over weekends. This accommodation is best suited to single or couple for a short stay. This is first negative review of any hotel I have visited, very disappointed and stressful experience.

La struttura nel complesso è ben organizzata, il titolare è presente, rapporto qualità prezzo corretto. Stanza fredda, riscaldamento regolato a 19,2 gradi, termostato centralizzato e quindi non regolabile in stanza . Il valore risulta così troppo basso a febbraio, il servizio colazione non è in struttura ma bisogna spostarsi a piedi per circa 100 metri. Con poco si può migliorare di parecchio, anche pagando qualcosa in più.

のんびりと観光しながら向かおうと思っていましたが、到着時間を何回も聞かれ、観光しながらのメールのやり取りにはまいりました。また、時間を指定されたため、観光の途中で予定を変更してチェックインしに行かなければならず、その後同じ場所に戻りと、時間を無駄にしました。短い観光時間の中でそのようなやり取りに時間を取られ、もったいなかったと思っています。また、それ以降スタッフは見なかったのです（携帯チャットのやり取りになるようです）。 　部屋は広く綺麗に整えられていましたが、暖房が効かず、滞在中ずっと寒さに耐えなければならず、次の日には風邪を引いてしまいました。 　場所も観光スポットから遠く（バスで30分くらい）、不便でした。

What a great place to stay at.

Pleasantly surprise by this guesthouse. Very clean, comfort was top notch and the owners were just amazingly kind and caring because I was badly injured while staying there at a restaurant nearby. I definitely recommend Etna Sea House to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Catania.
