"St. Lucia is highly overrated. The views are nice but everything else is not worth it. Staff looks unhappy to be working there. This was a 3 star resort at best. There are locals on the beach that try to sale you things and we even witnessed a verbal altercation with a local and a guest from the hotel. The food is disgusting and has no flavor. The property smells like sewage at nighttime. Will never be back or recommend this place to anyone. I’ve been to several islands in the Caribbean and this was by far the worst experience. "
"Our day was nothing short of beautiful. We started each day with breakfast from the buffet that had a variety of options and the eggs were so good. We spent a lot of time by the beach where we were greatly accommodated by staff throughout our time on the beach, giving us drinks and towels when needed. There were so many cute dogs that really made my stay in the ocean. there were big floats that you could lay on and tan we enjoyed using those the pole bar was quiet and had very good service. All of the laying areas were relaxing and clean. All of the staff was super helpful and friendly. Our room had a nice balcony area where you could lay and relax at night. We really enjoyed our stay and we will be back."
"We had an amazing stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make everything effortless. They helped us organize our outings, arrange taxi transfers, and secure dinner reservations. A special shout‑out to Claudius, who was truly the best taxi driver—punctual, kind, and who shared so much information on the different locations we visited. The property sits directly on a beautiful, quiet beach that feels like your own private escape. A perfect place to relax and unwind."
Royalton Saint Lucia, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort
6/10 Okay
"The rooms were a little dated, but clean. Beds were comfortable and we enjoed the swim up room. We did have difficulty booking dinner reservations. You can't book a reservation without a room number, but don't receive the room number until check-in. By that time the only times available were after 9:00. The lunch/dinner buffet was not great food was often cold or dried out. The spirts bar food was also not great and they were out of the two thjngs we actually wanted. The breakfast buffet was good as was the breakfast at Grazie, but they were only open for breakfast one day during our stay.. We really enjoyed the a la carte restaurants for dinners, especially Hunters and Zen, just wish we had been able to get an earlier reservation. We wound up missing a lot of the evening entertainment because we were eating. Drinks were a little weak as expected at an all inclusive. The staff was hit or miss on the friendliness factor. Although some did go over and above, especially Brendan and the Dips swim up bar. He was amazing 11/10 customer service with a smile. He made sure everyone was taken care of and enjoying themselves. The spa staff was friendly and provided excellent services. "
"If paradise had a personality, it would probably look a lot like The BodyHoliday… and gently insist you drink more water while booking you in for a massage you didn’t know you desperately needed.
From the moment we arrived, this place wrapped us up in a warm Caribbean hug (occasionally accompanied by a slightly overconfident bird trying to move into our room). It’s a resort that somehow manages to be equal parts luxury escape, wellness retreat, and “shall we just stay here
Waking up here is an experience. The rooms are beautifully done—calm, airy, and perfectly positioned for those “wow, is this real life?” balcony moments. Sitting out early morning with tea or coffee, watching the island wake up, became a bit of a ritual.
Breakfast quickly became our favourite event of the day (and we don’t say that lightly). Whether it was banana waffles the size of your head or poached eggs and smoked salmon combo, everything was fresh, delicious & perfect.
The spa is, quite simply, heavenly. Treatments are included daily, which feels wildly indulgent and quickly becomes something you consider a basic human right.
If you can drag yourself away from your sunbed (no judgement if not), there’s plenty to do. Tai Chi, Ringos, Paddleboarding, Sailing.
The dolphin boat trip was a standout—small group, wind in your hair, sea spray in your face, and that glorious feeling of freedom as you speed across the water. Add in a few drinks onboard and excellent company, and it’s hard to beat.

"We just got back from a wonderful week at Coconut Bay! Food was excellent, staff was great, so many activities. They also have a petting zoo with rescue puppies, goats, and horses which we visited daily. Can’t wait to go back!"
"Shane was an incredible concierge and host! Seriously, he asked us our needs and delivered every time. All I hope is that our next time we cross paths with him again! Thank you for the wonderful stay!! "
