This is my second time staying at this establishment and I can honestly say the staff is well attentive to guests needs even during new ownership and renovations. They keep the hotel clean and safe and are always available to answer any questions you may have. Alfonso and Andrea are the perfect duo with an amazing team supporting them. Big improvement over the previous management.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Ethnic Thematic Hotel. The vibe is different from the typical tourist hotels—it feels cultural, colorful, and full of personality. The staff was friendly and made me feel right at home. The rooms were comfortable and had that unique local touch that makes you feel like you’re actually in Cartagena, not just passing through. The location is perfect too, close to the action but still peaceful enough to relax. If you want a stay that feels authentic and memorable, I’d definitely recommend this place.

The hotel staff are friendly. The rooms are nice and clean. From the balcony, you have a nice view of the action on the street near the clock. The locked door and camera seem to be helpful. The police are usually always in the area as well. I had a great visit and will stay again.

The hotel was close to the Clock Tower where we would meet for the tours. That made it very convenient. Our biggest issue was the noise at night and the small bathrooms.

This is my second time at the property it’s a great place in the the center of town close walking everywhere. There is a safe in the room, card access into the hotel and staff at the front desk. The only downfall is if you don’t want to party don’t come there cause the clubs are right across the street and you can hear the music all night long.
