It was an OK stay. The staff was excellent. The location was fine. It was within walking distance to Getsemani and the walled city. If you're only looking for a place to sleep this hotel is fine. If you are looking for something with amenities it wouldn't be the best option.

A l'arrivée a cette hôtel la réceptioniste nous a communiquer qu'il y avait un probléme avec la chambre, cependant, ils avaient déjà réservé dans un autre hotel de la même catégorie. L'hotel a pris en charge le transfert ainsi que le petit déj pour les 3 jours que au début n'était pas inclus dans notre réservation. De ce que nous avons pu apercevoir de l'hotel, il est très propre et agreable.

Hotel Near Old Town Cartagena

Pleasant hotel near to the old town, good range of bars and restaurants nearby. However my friend had a room facing the harbour and found it to be very noisy, especially at the weekend with two night clubs nearby open until 4am and the bars close to the hotel being one of the stops on the party buses.

This hotel is within walking distance to the Wall City and a number of excellent cafes and restaurants in Getsemani. Staff (especially Jose and Kelly) were friendly and helpful. Guests could also use the facilities at the Hotel Allure Chocolate. Unfortunately the noise from the air conditioners in our room and adjacent units were unbearable. We had to turn it off despite of tropical heat! Otherwise it was a decent place to stay for reasonable price.

Beautiful hotel, perfectly located between the hip getsemani neighborhood and the old city (5 min walk) The staff was great in setting up Transfers and recommending great places to eat. They also checked us in way earlier than the check in time because our flight arrived at 9 AM. We really loved our stay and would stay here again. We especially loved Kelly who helped us. Thank you

El hotel esta bien ubicado en el barrio de Getsemani y a 900 metros de la la torre del Reloj, las habitaciones son amplias y agradables, solo las toallas un poco ásperas, para llegar al lobby hay que subir escaleras y para la habitación que nos toco también hay escaleras, el hotel no cuenta con restaurante ni piscina pero puedes utilizar las instalaciones del Hotel Chocolate, que se encuentra a 230 metros. Definitivamente si volvería.

The food was terrible! Stale, dry or watered down, whatever manner it could be to save the hotel money. The bathroom had black mold apparent and the walls were so thin I could hear the next rooms bodily functions. Absolutely horrific!

The property was beautiful but more than anything the staff was AMAZING. They were so helpful and knew what we needed before we even did. They even called a doctor for us as I wasn’t feeling well. They went above and beyond. Truly.

Nos encantó el hotel, aunque es pequeño es muy bonito, limpio y huele espectacular. Lo único “malo” fue que teníamos que ir a desayunar al otro hotel y también para usar la piscina, pero lo bueno de esto es que el hotel es mejor entonces el desayuno era mejor. La piscina tiene vista al mar muy bonita. La comida deliciosa y la atención excelente en ambos hoteles. Recomendado

Perfect hotel in stukje authentiek Cartagena!

Perfecte verblijfplaats in het hippe Getsemani! Alles aan dit hotel is top, locatie service ontbijt kamer netheid. Een dikke tien! Persoonlijk vond ik in deze buurt verblijven een stukken betere optie dan in Bocagrande waar de meeste hotels staan. In deze buurt vind je nog een stuk authenticiteit.

Let's start with I Love the Allure Bon Bon I have stayed there I think this is my 6 or 7th time. I am treated like family not a quest. The hotel is centrally located so I can walk to everything that is important to me. Room was awesome like always. Now lets talk about care and the staff. From the time I walked in the smiles and the professionalism is abound. A few days into my trip I became very ill these folks took care of me like family not employees checking up on me regularly even calling medical assistance for me. From the bottom of my heart I want to let them know how much that meant to me and how much I love them all they took care of me to the last second I walked out the door. When I travel the hotel I stay in becomes my home for the days that I am in that City. The Allure Bon Bon is my Home in Cartagena

Excellent property. Location is amazing only about a 10 minute walk to the historic city. This location is located in Getsemani, just outside, so your away from the busy/noisy area but close enough to wander out at night for entertainment or food. The hotel has another property, more upscale, just about a block away and they allow you to use their pool. The pool is amazing has great views and a great drink selection as well as appetizers; views overlooking the ocean. Hotel Breakfast was amazing consisted of fruit, your choice/style of egg, and a variety of amazing breads and mini empanadas; super filling. Room has great AC which is perfect after walking in the humid streets of Cartagena. Only complaint was that the internet would go down at times, but not really a major problem for me as you are on vacation enjoy the town and worry less about cell phone use.
