"Pet friendly and the friendly guy behind the bar, and lovely view from room , and comfy bed were really the only positives from our stay.
Not allowed to check in until 3pm on the dot.
Poor decor throughout, except in bar area.
Rooms very dated and in dire need of restoration. Ceiling wallpaper hanging off. Lots of cracked tiles in bathroom. Cracked shower tray.
Dead insects found in bathroom.

"Nice staff and rooms, but the communal parts of the property are quite dated.
The pool wasn’t open during our stay due to heating issues which we were emailed about a week before but by then we had already booked excursions from Isle of Mull, ferries and travelled from far so it was too late for us to change all of this and we’d loose to much money.
We were also surprised that you had to book a slot for the hot tub which was cleaned every other hour and completely emptied every three days according to maintenance man- this was extreme we felt as we have the exact same hot tub at home and have had for over 20 years and we have never been told we need to empty it every 3 days!
The spa chill area behind the hot tub where you can sit inside and enjoy the view is also very small and there were several people walking in and out leaving the door to slam so hard, walking back and forth all the time to check the hot tub and it made for not so “chill” of a location so I just went back to my room.
One thing I would like to say though is the massages were incredible. The two ladies that work there are extremely kind and skilled. I would definitely recommend getting treatments with them as it was certainly worth the money. "
"Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. The room was spacious, pretty well furnished and clean. Dinner and breakfast was not exceptional but OK. However the biggest pluses were the tranquil location overlooking Loch Feochan and the staff. From arrival to departure every member of staff we encountered was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Tom needs to be singled out for being exceptionally helpful when we discovered a tyre puncture on departure. He helped us to source and arrange for a replacement and fix. despite missing our lunch appointment, the hotel is hardly a bad place to spend an extra 90mins. Very highly recommended."
