The room was amazing and had the best nights sleep. We had a complimentary soft drink mini bar which was a nice touch. Bathroom was amazing too. We didn't eat here in the evening as had lunch at Rick Steins in Padstow, however, really enjoyed breakfast. Really can't wait to stay here again. THANK YOU Bodmin Jail Hotel, we will be back. "

"Fantastic location, would recommend a sea view to watch over Fistral beach and the surfing. Spa is great. Pool, jacuzzi, steak room and sauna are great but it was alarming that some guests ignored the ‘no diving’ rules displayed which caused much alarm and was scary. "

"It was a lovely stay. Some parts of the hotel needed a bit of attention, but I would return, no doubt. I love the fact it’s an independent hotel. We ate in each night on our 3 night stay, and the quality of the food was fantastic. Also the quality of the bar staff and the reception staff checking in and out. Can’t fault any of them. "

"Hotel was excellent, seemingly only opened a short while. The rooms were well appointed and the gym/cafe/pool were all great. Staff were friendly and the location was good, outside the town itself but nice and quiet with walkable beaches nearby."
