"Super nice hotel in downtown Monterey Bay! Loved that it was walking distance to a lot of things. Parking was either valet or self park. We did self park which is in a structure for the hotel. Next block over so easy to get to. Amenities were ok. We wished there was a refrigerator in the room. Staff were super nice and friendly. We would definitely stay there again. "

"Room was extremely small. We have stayed there before and had a wonderful space. Bathroom door had to be pulled shut with two people. I asked for a microwave one staff member said it would be in our room when we returned but it wasn’t. I called and asked for it again and was told they don’t do that. So which is it? I spent over $1,000 for a two night stay and my accommodations should have been much better than it was. Extremely disappointed! "

"The property is lovely with beautifully landscaped areas around the room and an inner courtyard with patio furniture. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped - our group especially enjoyed the fireplaces - easy to turn on and added ambiance. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of options and the evening wine and cheese was an added touch. The location is amazing so that you can park your car and walk to many shops, restaurants, Cannery Row, Fishermen's Wharf and the Monterey Bay...

"Most staff were very nice one pretty girl would not smile for the life of her. Our balcony doors would not lock which seemed to be a little bit of a safety issue. There was no fan in our room. It was very hot. We had to call and request one. Only one night table in that room the set up of the room seems to be very small compared to our friends room. That was there. Parts of the building definitely seemed like they are falling apart."
