"The location was perfect and parking on site was great. Unfortunately we were in the front of the hotel and the noise from the street woke us ( we were on floor 9). Even numbered rooms are at the back of the hotel. The air con wouldn't go any lower than 18 and the room was too hot. Breakfast was great and staff were helpful."

"The staff was very pleasant. The Angel could do with a bit of updating and a lick of paint. Our room was clean very old fashioned and a bit tatty in places. The place smelt a bit musty at times. Breakfast was lovely. "

The two staff members we dealt with were unhelpful and dismissive, and they did not take the time to properly listen to either myself or my colleague. The interaction became uncomfortable, as their tone and approach came across as unnecessarily aggressive. I would expect a much higher level of professionalism."
