"Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. Couldn't fault the staff who were always very helpful and friendly. Good choice for a continental breakfast and evening meal was very good. Only downside was the size of our room, If i had known just how small "cosy" was i would have upgraded. I'm 6'4" and a double bed is too small, i fell out at one point :) Don't let this detract from a great hotel though. Would go again,"

"The Staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was great though the bed mattress was soft and saggy and overdue for replacement! Also the weather was changing and although the heating came on at 5pm and was very effective, arriving back at 4pm from the wet and cold outside the room was decidedly cool. Recognise this is a difficult balance... We had an okay meal on first night and a great breakfast on the first morning but really felt the price of food and drink was excessive and ate elsewhere in the village for the rest of our stay enjoying equally good food for around 20% less"
