Our favorite in Paarl

This place is a favorite of ours, and we keep on returning. You are well taken care of by the staff and owners, the grounds are very beautiful and the it is a quiet oasis. It is easy to get an uber to explore some of the stunning restaurants and vineyards close by. If you want to stay at the hotel all day, they offer great food as well upon requsest

Beautiful property but stable rooms are loud

Beautiful estate with a pool to-die-for. Nice breakfast, but no vegan options...I had written the owners with questions ahead of time, but never received a response. And while the stable rooms are large, the walls are paper-thin and you can hear your neighbors (tv, conversations, blowing noses.)

This was our number one!

This is one of the friendliest places we stayed at during our trip around the Western Cape. Wonderful service throughout. Great brai. Excellent breakfasts. Bar service attentive. Lovely pool. Funky chickens. Rooms grear. All round, a wonderful place to stay.

Tolle Zimmer, sehr freundliche Besitzer und Personal. Nur der Service beim Essen hatte etwas gelitten. Das gleich bei zwei unabhängigen Bestellungen diese jeweils vergessen worden sind, war schon ärgerlich. Dennoch eine ganz tolle Unterkunft. Wenn ich mit der Familie mal wiederkomme, dann buche ich gern wieder hier. Danke nochmals für den tollen Aufenthalt.

En pärla i Paarl

Underbart boende på fruktodlingsgård från 1698. Byggnationen genuin och trivsam med hög klass på våtutrymmen. Gårdscentrum är omgivet av stora mycket gamla lövträd. Den mycket sympatiska African/holländska familjen odlar 3500 st guawaträd vars frukt pressas till juice.

Relaxing with lovely gardens and pool

Great shower, good beds, comfy sofa and armchairs in living area, Nespresso machine, TV in living room AND in bedroom. Unfortunately a little neglected (due to Covid?) and rather dirty. But with some clean-ups a lovely place.
