Excellent break while still able to work remotely!

We had a magical stay at this property. The staff and owner went above and beyond to accommodate and provide an environment for remote working. Our suite came equipped with an inverter to maintain Wi-Fi and power supply to external monitors and laptops during load shedding times. Able to continue to work uninterrupted, gave us time to enjoy the property more and the area better, knowing that the load shedding schedule would not hinder or interfere with getting assignments out on time. We will without a doubt recommend this property to any, and to anyone that needs to continue to work while traveling. Would love to have stayed longer, and without a doubt will return when visiting Gordon’s Bay in the future.

Perfect for our itinerary.

The house is on a quiet street on the beach. The Penthouse was on the top level up steep stairs that were fine for our family. We were able to find places to eat nearby but we also made our way to the Waterfront in Cape Town (about 45 minutes without traffic) for dinner. There are grocery options nearby that made grabbing a few breakfast items easy. The apartment has everything you could need for making meals via stove top or microwave or barbecue. We rented a car and the garage parking was very convenient. It was a perfect place for us to use to explore Cape Town and rest our heads at night.

The perfect paradise

Our stay at 185 Beach rd was absolutely amazing. Everything from checking in to the cottage and its breathtaking views were flawless. The cottage was beautifully decorated and the undisturbed ocean views even better. I loved the upper deck and that its so close to the ocean. Jeanette and her team really went that extra mile for my partner and I and we will definitely return to this gem.

Walking into these apartments gives you a definite 'wow' factor. You cannot get better views of the Indian Ocean - just fantastic. Very comfortable large bed, fantastic bathroom and fantastic locations. Any problems we had were addressed quickly/ We would stay here again.
