"The hotel was a nice surprise. The room was generous in size and comfortably appointed, as was the big terrace. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the hotel offered a host of nice surprises ... laundry self service, generously stocked fridge, fresh bread and pastries in the morning, heated bathroom floor, a breakfast nook on the terrace, great coffees and other snacks, and a turn down service. The hotel's location was also superb. We will definitely come back."

"I cannot recommend this apartment enough. From communications with Bobby and the fabulous Ashmore, our 1 night stay for a 21st celebration will always be remembered. "Coming from the US and having heard all kinds of stories about SA, I will say this property is very safe and secure, with (free) gated parking. I had a 2 bedroom apartment that was very spacious and had a patio area and kitchen. It was enormous. The staff are very courteous and helpful, and eager to share all the great things Stellenbosch has to offer. Laundry service is a plus and so is the location—walkable to any number of great restaurants and cafes. Great value as well. Highly recommended."

"After a warm and happy late check in, I wondered to my room to find a disaster unfold. As it was late at night I had no opportunity to leave as the staff leave at 1030pm Many windows have been left open and there were a number of mosquitoes in the room The towel rail fell off the wall as soon as I lifted a towel. Then I informed my towel to find dark stains all over it. There was blood over a number of pillows and sheets. The floor had not been cleaned properly and my feet were filthy...
