Hotels near English Newsom Cellars

"This was by far the absolute worst hotel I have ever been to. We left within an hour of checking in. We had 2 rooms and both were DIRTY! There was dirty sheets on the sofa bed. Kids pulled it from the wall and there was donuts, noodles and a marijuana pen back there. The bed smelled like urine as well as someone else drink in the fridge. In the other room both beds had dirty sheets and the tv stand had what looked like dried up ice cream (I hope) 😩 The walls were incredibly filthy like they have never been wiped down and possible mold. The guy at the front desk offered to come clean the rooms and said give him 10 minutes and he would be there. We waited 30 and no one still had not showed up so we checked out. We did not receive a call from the manager or anyone to even try and rectify. I have pictures of everything I mentioned above. "

"Worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. My room reeked of mildew. When I requested a room change, they sent me to a room that smelled like paint that was drying. I tried asking for a refund and they ignored me. "

"The home looks almost brand new and my most important feature CLEAN!! We had a small hiccup with getting the door open to relax but the host promptly took care of it. We were attending a wedding with several events. This was a wonderful place for us to stay. Would definitely stay again if we come back to Lubbock"

"This place is next to a car junk yard and trailer homes. You can tell they are making updates but the finish work is not good. The beds are cheap with terrible sheets, no blankets, or headboards. There is a very bad hole in the driveway. The fan in each room is nice, the kitchen is nice. If you’re just looking to sleep and don’t care about nice sheets and towels then it is good. "
