"The people at reception were helpful. The hotel is right in the town center, a beautiful town square with lots of cafes and restaurants. The one thing that concerned me was no smoke alarms and the room did didn't lock and they only give you one key. Otherwise a pleasant stay. "

"I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and will be rebooking on my next trip to St Etienne. The staff on reception were extremally helpful and very welcoming which made for a very pleasing first Impression. Hotel is well situated and close to restaurants and bars. "

"Very minimal but good budget hotel. Staff is present only on limited hours. Late check-in was automated but efficient. Good position for traveling around the area. On check-out day, the code for opening the front door and room door stopped working without notice, way before check-out time."

"Room heaters very weak, almost zero. I have very good tolerance with cold, but when it's -3°C outside and the heaters almost don't work, no matter what, you'll at least hope there's hot water in the night? But no! Even hot water is not available at night, it seems to be only in the mornings. I was shivering and freezing and slept with loads of layers after hours of trying to fall asleep in the cold. "Wir hatten ein Abendessen bestellt, bekamen aber auf die Frage (per sms), wie spät es Abendessen geben würde, keine Antwort. Bei der Ankunft stand es auf Tellern im Zimmer. Das warme Essen befand sich im Kühlschrank, aber ohne Hinweis, wo man es wieder aufwärmen konnte. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und gut."

"Lo único bueno de la estancia fueron la comodidad de las camas y la ubicación en pleno centro, el alojamiento viejo y descuidado. Desayuno justo y no reponían lo que se acababa. Llegamos tarde y las llaves de nuestra habitación estaban en un mostrador al alcance de cualquiera que hubiera querido entrar. Desproporcionado calidad/precio. No lo recomiendo"
