"The staff and the general facilities and the room were great. Just two downsides. 1. During my stay they decided to drain the swimming pool and regrout and refill. We were told that this would take two days. My time at the hotel finished after 4 days and the pool was still not open. It would have been a good idea to do this maintenance work during the low season rather than with a hotel full of holidaymakers. 2. Strangely you were only allowed to use one device on the Wi-Fi. If you tried to add a second device a warning was given that one device, 1 ip address had already been used. So you couldn’t even withdraw one device in favour of another. The location was very good, some really good restaurants in walking distance. All in all a good stay."

"Value for Money, old property maintained very well. 5 min walk to the beach. True Taj heritage style for the money you pay. Comfy, class and exceptional front office on boarding staff. "Novotel Candolim is a very good and centrally located property with all the amenities you could ever wish and you can walk to any local shop or restaurant within a few minutes. Swimming pool is a nice place to be with a nice 35 meter length. Very clean and very nice. All the staff work as a team and are very friendly and professional. Breakfast is just amazing and we had many evening buffet dinners which were all very nice and the menus were varied and rotated daily. In short this hotel was a home away from home and the prices were very reasonable. There is also an on site spa. Will definitely visit again and strongly recommend this hotel to any friends and family looking for a good place to stay whilst in Goa ."

"Excellent resort surrounded by pristine gardens with unbeatable access to beach via a private 5 min walk. Onsite pool and restaurant are of great quality too. Rooms high quality with sufficient well maintained inside and outside spaces. Outstanding breakfast including Indian and continental options. Reception staff also helpfully organised day trips with minimal upfront planning. Overall outstanding value for money. Thank you Santana resort staff for catering to the diverse needs of our family (elderly and kids) and for making our trip so memorable. Highly recommend this resort - look no further."
