Although the building itself is a bit dated, it was very clean. The hotel staff were friendly, and I was able to rent a bicycle from the hotel to explore Canberra the next day. Breakfast was served in a style where you select your main dish. I was also really happy to find a coffee maker and T2 tea provided as room amenities. There was some construction work going on in the surrounding area, which required a bit of extra walking, but overall it was a wonderful stay.

A nicely appointed hotel with very friendly and efficient staff. However, the elevator service was variable -at one point only one was working and this caused delays and overcrowding. I would however stay here again

An overnight stay, centrally located. We were 2 adults and 5 year old. The hotel gave us an extra bed for my son to sleep on. Bed was good. Minimal toiletries provided. It was alright for the price which did not include parking or breakfast.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and it was great to have a balcony and the option for fresh air - just a pity about the drilling noise from the light rail construction work at the time of this stay.

4/10 Poor

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
There was no exhaust in toilet. While taking hot shower it almost felt like I am going to faint due to lack of air. Also, one of the food service staff on our first day, while we were having our breakfast, behaved terribly and was not answering the questions properly. While we asked for water, she arrived with extremely furious attitude and told that she can’t keep the water mug on the table as they don’t have enough mugs, though right after she provided the mug on the other table, and ai was seeing enough mugs on the desk over the kitchen. I would not book QT again if this is how staffs behave. Thanks though for cleaning and maintaining the room everyday while we were out.
