"The hotel was very nice with spacious rooms overlooking the sea. The pool areas were lovely but the resort could do with some more amenities for children especially older children. Breakfast was excellent but we found the buffet dinner quite limited with only a couple of hot options. The staff were on the whole great but we had to ask a lot of questions as the information wasnโt that detailed when we checked in. We had one meal at the Donna Terra restaurant but was very disappointed with the service provided."

"an amazing spot. Loved the breakfast area and it was really nice to have a separate room for the third person instead of a bed in the same room. Breakfast was nice and the herbs were very interesting the cave/breakfast area so gorgeous. Lots of steps and the innkeepers very helpful with moving luggage and parking"

"First rate experience. The staff could not have been more helpful, kind, attentive and welcoming. The room was most comfortable with good facilities including newly refurbished bathroom. Balcony with view of the park opposite was a bonus. Breakfast was delicious with freshly cooked eggs to order and a wide range of foods, regularly replenished. Limited on street parking. Central location. Delightful all round. Recommended!"

"MASSERIA DEL CARBOJ was one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. The setting is beautiful, with a fantastic pool area and stunning views over the vineyards. Dinner at sunset was a memorable experience, and the food and wine were excellent. We met Marco at dinner and again the following morning. He was friendly, welcoming and clearly passionate about both the property and the local area. When we checked out, he gave us a personalised guide for the next stage of our journey, packed with recommendations for places to visit, restaurants and wineries. We followed many of his suggestions, and they turned out to be some of the best experiences of our holiday. A wonderful place to relax, with thoughtful hospitality and an authentic Sicilian feel. We'd happily stay again."

"This is heaven on earth. Heaven. Exquisitely beautiful. Quiet. Spotless. Beautiful spacious room and perfect bath. Glorious breakfast with eggs freshly laid, fruits from the garden, many preserves and honey home made. Even the olive oil pressed from their own trees. The swimming pool was inviting โ large, sparkling clean and a perfect temperature. The host family are kind, competent and efficient while the porter is simply an angel. I am so happy we spent the night there. I could easily have spent a month."
