"The toilet in our room wouldn’t flush properly. Tried to call the front desk using the phone in the room, but there was no connection to the front desk. There was no bath gel wash in the container in the shower. Lighting in the room is very dim."

"We enjoyed our stay. It was nice to have breakfast available each morning at the hotel. Not a huge selection of breakfast items but it was sufficient. Staff was very kind. The only negative was in regards to housekeeping services. We were aware that housekeeping would come in every other day. We received fresh clean towels and garbages were emptied but beds were not made or sheets changed the 4 days we were there. Overall, it was a good hotel."

"I was excited to stay here because the old reviews were good- I was quickly disappointed. The property is extremely dated, the lobby smells like an ashtray and the old furniture is filthy. The elevator is small and has a dirty wooden floor. Our room smelled like a Glade factory blew up in it. The smell is so powerful our clothes smelled like it when we got home. "I felt deceived be Expedia giving this sight a 9.2 rating. The room was very small and the sight was nothing fancy. We had an old time bed spread my grandma might have put on her bed. I’m in transition while I sell my house in Front Royal so I have been in many hotels. This one is more like a 6 or 7. I paid more for this room only because of the rating you gave it. I could have saved a lot by choosing a hotel with a 6 rating and would have been just as happy."

"I was not told it was under renovation. Carpets taken up, holes cut in the ceiling in a hallway bathroom. Liquid leaking from a refrigerator in the hallway, construction dust around vending machines, food droppings in the hallway not cleaned up. Previous tenants clump of hair on the floor in room. Also had requested a location with a pool. They had taken pool out. The condition of this hotel was not worth the price at all. It is now making me rethink my choices of hotel chains."

"We wanted to be in the Hampton area for a concert. Hyatt was perfect, the room was so clean and the staff was top tier. The only thing I did not like was the food. The wings were a nightmare, my Caesar salad was trash. But our bartender was so kindled. Mr. Dana was so professional and kind. We will be back I just won’t order food lol. They have these peanut butter cookies though they are to die for!! Overall great place to stay!! And affordable"

"When you first arrived, it was very clean and nice. The lady at the front desk who ran the office was very rude. Then when I got to my room, my room had a terrible stale cigarette odor. There were stains all over the carpet. It really was not clean very old and worn. I also did not have a shower curtain in my bathroom and I asked for one from hose keep ( who was very nice and helpful)
But I received a tore up shower curtain. This property can do much better. I’ve never stayed somewhere like...
