"We had an amazing time,the surroundings are just incredible,so beautiful and peaceful.My family really enjoyed the barn and we played board games,lit a fire which was fabulous.The option to BBQ also.We had such fun.Our huts were just gorgeous,everything was spotlessly clean,the bed was so comfortable and the bedding was to a very high standard.We took a stroll through the meadow and had a turn in the paddle boat on the the water on the grounds,so much fun.The hosts really take great care of this...

"Rough rural property. Shower didn’t work and bathtub slippery and risky for seniors. Beds clean and comfortable and terrace with a lovely view of cow pasture, lots of swallows and birdsong. So — mixed. The Rising Sun restaurant connected was very good and inexpensive."

"Extremely friendly hosts! We were greeting on the sidewalk by our hosts and shown to our room. We had access to a hot tub, which we didn't even realize. The bathroom was gorgeous, with a huge shower and Irish rock wall. The beds were comfy and it was great to have access to a full kitchen. The pub is also great to visit, with friendly locals and great prices. I would go again!"

The toilet bowl had stains at the bottom, which I've never encountered in any hotels, a gross-looking coffee pot and ironing board, a stained anti-slip mat, and a TV screen covered in streaks. "A great spot to stay just outside Kilkenny. The attached restaurant had a fun vibe and great food. The bed was incredibly comfortable — after two weeks of hotel hopping around Ireland, this was our best sleep. Staff were easygoing and friendly to chat with. Breakfast was more limited than other stays, but still met our needs. Overall, a lovely and relaxing stay."
