"Enjoyed a 2 night stay, although room was a bit snug, it was clean and comfortable and had full length mirror and plenty of plug sockets which is always good. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed a few drinks in the bar. The breakfast was amazing, so much to choose from ... delicious fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereal and cereal bars, every spread you could think of for toast and the cooked breakfast was really tasty, again with lots of choice. We would happily stay again if visiting Amble in the future ๐"

"Very clean and spacious bedrooms however they use an air vacuum toilet system which it was acknowledged to me was useless. I used the pub toilet at times because of continual blockages. Thatโs dreadful. It is a pub and was very good with pleasant staff. The breakfast was limited to usual hot food, except only fried eggs, limited continental breakfast. We had one evening meal and not brilliant however the fish restaurants in Amble compensate. Parking is good and plentiful on-site. The pub is difficult to find using a car satnav but ok if you use Google. Apparently the pub has been there 3 years and many satnavs donโt recognise the estate itโs on."

"A wonderful stay in this beautiful location. Rooms spotlessly clean and comfortable, friendly and efficient staff throughout. We had a warm welcome and a simple check in, our room was ready on time and it was a great, characterful space. Wonderful Temple Spa toiletries to try, soft and comfortable mattress for a great, peaceful night's sleep. We were in a room next to the pub, did not hear any noise at all, with parking right outside. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, lots of hot and cold options to suit all requirements, served up again by a friendly and efficient team. We ate in the pub, the fish and chips are out of this world, but on this visit we tried the seafood platter, which was excellent. Lots of different options, the food coming from the kitchen all looked wonderful and the place was very busy - I would recommend booking a table if you are planning to eat here, or you may be disappointed! All in all, 10 out of 10 and we will be back just as soon as we are able, bringing our pooch with us, as the place and the people here welcome dogs warmly. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"
