"The Sandman is a nice hotel with comfortable rooms. My only complaint is that the rooms on the side of the hotel facing the trains (I think on 8th Ave) can be quite noisy as the trains are loud and continue late into the night. If you are a light sleeper, I recommend avoiding rooms on that side. The heating unit also added to the noise.
Everything else was great. The bed was comfortable, breakfast in the restaurant was excellent, and the gym was well equipped."
"Breakfast was sent back i ordered sausage and eggs the sausage was obviously deep fried or burned in an oven the toast was plain wonder bread with some kind of margarine smashed all over it. My wife ordered pancakes that were stone cold and crusty hard. It was awful. "
