Great location to access Calais Plage and the Eurotunnel. Clean and comfy and very pleasant staff. If booking via Expedia be aware that most people (including myself) were under the impression they had already paid but hadn't. Payment is taken on arrival which suprised me and the fsmily in front of us and many other customers according to the lady on reception. This is an issue with Expedia booking process though and not the hotel itself.

We have been staying at the Cottage Hotel for over 18 years and find it very central for site seeing and shopping. Staff speak English which is helpful. It’s only about 14 minutes from the ferry. We have already booked to return next month

Overnight stop

Very compact room, bathroom is okay if you’re only small build 1.5 x 1.5 mtrs, shower area was more like a baby’s bath and thick mold growth up the sides of the wall. Staff pleasant and helpful. If the rooms were of the same quality as the bar/ restaurant areas then this would be a great hotel. Don’t think we would stay here again.
