Awful reception staff- mean, condescending and definitely need training before standing in front of customers to understand their job properly. Particularly Dina and Mohammed.
I had booked via Expedia for 1 adult 3 kids ( with the correct ages). Expedia automatically changed it to the required 3 adults and 1 child as per the requirements of the hotel.
However - on check in, they refused to let me check in unless I paid $400 as they assumed the booking was for three children. I showed them the terms and conditions of Expedia and they refused - insisting that the breakfast is expensive and that has to be covered hence I should pay $400. Numerous conversations with Dina - showing her the terms but she refused to listen and said she will be kind and charge me $195 instead. They basically said pay this or you can go elsewhere
I paid- as I had my family with me - left a bad taste.
While leaving the hotel on my last day I spoke to another manager Mohammed -I could tell I was wasting my time. I asked for my money back and he smiled and refused. Advise not to stay in this hotel if you don’t want to ruin your stay. Expedia were not helpful in this matter either - the hotel first responded saying is the policy, second that oh as the reservation was for 3 adults we charged the price for the child.
Thankfully being an Accor member helped and they helped with a refund.
