"The lobby, surrounding sitting rooms, and our guest room were lovely. Our guest room was large and comfortable. Elevator access to the room worked well. No hauling luggage up the stairs. The hotel is very quiet for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was nice and had wonderful baked goods, fresh fruit, hot and cold choices and a very good coffee machine. "I did not realize that we would be staying at the most iconic home in Brugge. This property is breathtaking!! It was everything we wanted and more!!! We stayed in the cottage at Barabas. "We loved this hotel the location was amazing so close to everything. The staff were amazing and helpful. The only warning to note is there are stairs and no elevator, the stairs are steep and if you are travelling all the way from Australia and likely travelling with large luggage the you may want to ask for ground floor in booking or make sure you have someone to help get the luggage upstairs we have to go up 3 flights of stairs not easy. Doable but not easy. There is no air conditioner but...

"This B&B was top notch! The rooms were all beautiful, big and spacious! Bathrooms were huge. The breakfast every morning was 5 Stars and the couple that owned it were so sweet and truly wanted to make our stay perfect! Also, the espresso, cappuccino, tea & hot cocoa were all available 24/7 in the foyer at stairs. It was a romantic Paris vibe and in the perfect location( cobble stone street and only 10 minute walk to center. "

"Hotel Malleberg is a quaint hotel conveniently located near everything you want to see in Brugge. The hotel was quiet and great for a good night's sleep. My husband, our niece, and I shared a family room and it was spacious and comfortable. The owner and all staff were very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely stay here again if I am fortunate to visit Brugge again. (And next time I'll have the on-site breakfast in their medieval basement one morning which sounded amazing!)"
