"Plenty of free parking .The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable . Plenty of tea and coffee , with the kettle. It was near a country park with a lake to the side of it . The food in the attached pub was lovely. Free breakfast and plenty of it. The best bit , that can make or break a stay The staff.All friendly and helpful. If we have to go back to Swindon it will be The Sun Inn we stay at ."

"Quite dated hotel with lovely manager . Sup comfortable bed and smashing shower . Walk all day in Oxford . Walk home to hotel . Plenty of dining and beverage options . We had a great comfortable stay "

"I stayed in separate building down the street. Small rooms with shared toilet and shower. It was nice enough. The staff were excellent. The area is under heavy construction so alternative parking was needed. But this was arranged. Breakfast was very nice, a free option with ability to buy more. Road closures made getting to hotel difficult but detailed instructions were provided and they worked well. This is a modest but affordable place within easy walking distance of the University. "

"As advertised, inexpensive and functional. The host was accommodating and the location is good, on Cowley Road, with a bus stop right across the street. The house is not new or recently refurbished and the furnishings are haphasard, but wvebrything was clean and functional. A good place to stay on a budget."

"Comfortable stay. Property little dated and could do with a fresh coat of paint. Could do with a bit more attention on cleaning cobwebs on windows and dust on skirting boards. But clean bedding and towels. Owners pleasent and helpful. Only 2 parking spaces outside property but more parking on side street with a permit ( can get one from property). Lovely breakfast choice of cereals toast yogurts and fruit also offered bean and egg. Shops and restaurants a couple of minutes walk away. "
