"The estate is beautiful, the food and wines are excellent, and the service was exceptional from beginning to end. We especially loved the family-friendly atmosphere, and Wonderdal was a highlight for our 6-year-old son.
One small recommendation for families: some dishes in South Africa can be quite spicy, so it's worth checking before ordering for children. Our son became unwell one evening after eating a spicy dish, and the hotel team was incredibly caring, attentive, and supportive throughout...

"Very thoughtful setting in the room were we stayed. Although it was a quiet day, we were informed that we're upgraded to a more expensive room.
One of the owners was there receiving us and is very friendly and helpful.
Little details in the room, including live flowers, snow that they love creating the best experience for guests.
Also had a nice chat at the breakfast time and with the checkout.
Felt like visiting a good friend."
