The SLS Puerto Madero Hotel invested heavily in its external appearance and in a single top-tier amenity (the gym), but visibly cut costs on the internal structure of the apartments and the furniture. The poor soundproofing (due to internal drywall walls) and the discomfort of the furniture mean the stay falls short of expectations and does not justify the price. Furthermore, a service failure (ignoring the promised welcome bottle of wine) was an unacceptable lapse. If your absolute priority is a state-of-the-art gym (with Technogym equipment), the hotel might be worthwhile. Otherwise, if you are looking for comfort, quiet, and attentive service, the experience will likely be frustrating.

Good hotel, no more sun in the pool area at 2:30PM

Great hotel but the pool could be better. There is no pool bar or drink service and the sun disappears behind the high-rise buildings at 2:30PM so beware of this. It gets cold, even in summer, without the sun. Great breakfast.

The hotel is beautiful. The staff is young, vibrant and eager to please the guests. The food was outstanding. The morning breakfast , which was included, was delicious. If we go back to Buenos Aires, we will be staying there again. Just loved the staff and my experience there.

Puerto Madero is an excellent area to stay in. SLS is a wonderful hotel, will be our home away from home when in Bueno Aires. Pierre the owner introduced himselt and was the consumate host. I recommend this hotel highly, you will not be disappointed.

The hotel itself is stunning, the cleanliness, impeccable, the area is a combination of historical buildings in one side and super modern on the other, it’s safe, there are many unbelievable restaurants nearby and the food is to die for, but the best part about the hotel is the service and the staff. They go above and beyond to please. There were little many little things they did that made it special. It happened to be my birthday during my stay and they called up to my room and asked if they could send a gift, then showed up with a beautiful cake and champagne! What hotel does that! Just amazing!

Avoid if you want to sleep. Whilst the service and location was good, there is a fundamental problem with this hotel - there is absolutely no sound insulation between rooms. You can hear every conversation, the TV, and indeed every single noise from next door, and even the rooms opposite. Myself and another colleague in another room had to move, even the corner rooms are noisy (just from one side, the corridor and opposite).

Amazing customer service from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out. We were upgraded but ended up liking our original booked room more so they were able to move us to the room we want. They held our luggage while we explored the city and also informed us when our car arrived. The room was nice and clean. Great location as well.

Very noisy rooms, you could hear the conversations of the adjoining rooms and very close building under construction. Same experience in the spa, noisy and not very good. Rooms not very clean and very average food quality. Not the SLS experience that one expects price/quality. I wouldn't go back. On the positive note, the staff has the best disposition to help & location is top.
