"I really needed a room change , there were three of us and the beds were not big enough, the staff were abrupt and did not really try to accommodate us so that there were three beds for us to use or even a rollaway bed, the rooms are very tiny and there is no place to sit down in the room only a couple of chairs outside, there is no refrigerator , so no ability to keep drinks cold. My recommendation is to stay someplace else and visit. I had booked it for 4 nights and no refund was given, we...

"Staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is around 20 minutes from La Fortuna so car rental was needed. Beautiful secluded spot with a gorgeous terrace and small roof dipping pool/tub (villa cacao). Room had everything we needed and was very clean. "Cindy, the owner, was an excellent host. Very proactively engaged in our experience from the day we booked. The bungalows look into the forest and dining pavilion were new, modern, and well equipped. Cindy is also the chef, and serves and excellent breakfast and dinner. "Property is fantastic beautiful views and view of small waterfall. Walk around property and enjoy the nature, river, waterfall. Property manager on site was super friendly and helpful. Three story type house. Kids loved the bunk at the top. Easy walk to town for food and groceries. We stopped here between drive from SJO and La fortune and stayed one night then went to blue falls great stop!! "
