"This was one of the best stays and experiences we’ve had. The property was very clean, well maintained, and exactly as shown in the pictures. The room was comfortable, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the overall experience felt welcoming and peaceful. The staff was friendly, responsive, and very helpful throughout our stay. The only feedback I have is about the café. The coffee and food quality could be improved. We preferred exploring nearby local coffee shops and cafés instead."

"The main problem during our stay was the noise. The walls are extremely thin — we could hear everything, even the people in the next room using their microwave. We were placed between two rooms that seemed to be traveling together, and they partied and slammed their doors throughout the night. By 3 AM, we had to ask them to quiet down. "Cheap is the word here. Everything looked cheap. Thin, lightweight bedding. You could hardly call it a blanket. The floor was cold tile throughout. The lighting was inadequate. The bathroom was so tiny they had to put the washbowl and linens out in the general area. There was only one washcloth. The bathroom door had been broken on the bottom and poorly repaired. l don't know what the breakfast was like, or if there even was one, because I got out of there the moment day broke in the morning. "Best hotel experience I've ever had. My wife and i had never been here before and assumed we were just in one of the rooms at the top of the hill. Definitely not expecting a full cabin! The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful with telling us good areas to see eagles, seals, and just other things to check out. We loved it so much we re booked for our anniversary in June and we are super excited to come back! I whole heartedly recommend this place!"

"The Atlantic Coast is an older motel, but very well kept and clean. They leave you two water bottles, two cans of soda and two bags of chips-which is a nice touch. They have an Indian restaurant on the premises that is very popular with the locals. The only downside is that they do not staff the front office. However they are very responsive in terms of delivering ice, etc if you text them. A very good value if you want a place to base yourself in and then drive the half hour to Bar Harbor."

"Rented a cabin for the long weekend. NOT what we expected based on the online pics of the cabins. Did not have the "Maine cabin" vibe at all - more like 1980s RV interior design. Vertical blinds on sliding doors were missing some sections so no real privacy. Bed was very uncomfortable. Hot water lasted about 3 mins, so showering or washing dishes was tricky - to say the least. Not so friendly RV "neighbors" who felt it ok to have a projected light show, and be loud and obnoxious past 10 pm. We...

"I have stayed at the Lucerne multiple times now and each time has been enjoyable! The rooms are clean, spacious and the hotel has great character. The food is pretty solid and the value is amazing."

"Parking was great, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. Room had a few issues. Hairdryer was off the wall and not put back on, wasn’t notified about it prior, there was a few minor housekeeping issues. But for the price of the room it was fine"
