"This hotel is outside the city of Lucerne but only 20 minutes away. It is nice and peaceful, which was our preference. The Mt. Pilatus train station in Alpnachstadt is just a few minutes away. We got to enjoy both sunset and sunrise from our balcony. The staff were friendly and professional and the room was clean and uniquely charming but with modern conveniences. The restaurant served excellent local favorite dishes. We look forward to another stay in the coming years. "

"Felt at home and it was great to chat with young, intelligent, enthusiastic, and energized international guests."

"Beautiful and updated property. It’s nice to have the modern juxtaposition with the authentic Swiss surroundings. The staff was so kind and offered amazing local suggestions. They treated everyone like they were the only guests there. We did everything Svenja mentioned and had the best time. Fun story how the brothers run this spot and their parents run the hotel next door. Will be back!"

"Grinderwald is such an amazing place. You haven’t visited Switzerland until you’ve been to the Berner Oberland region! Location of hotel is adjacent to train station and the primary local bus stop is across the street. Hotel is a little older than others but it’s very clean, updates are being done and its views of the Eiger are outstanding!!! Staff service and continental breakfast was great. "Go for the mountain view; if the weather is not cloudy the scenery would be incomparable and inexpressible. The staffs were so kind and willing to help us in every way. Also enjoyed whirlpool, spa, sauna and swimming pool. Deeply satisfied with the hotel - will give 11 out of 10 and recommend you to stay here if you were to stay in Grindelwald. "

"The breakfast was delicious and full of options. Staff was attentive and informed. No issues and would certainly stay here again. Depending on your room location, it can be loud on Wed. nights due to the weekly street festival if you need to open windows. This didn't cause us problems, just something to keep in mind if you have young children."
