"Positives: - reception staff are extremely welcoming and helpful - the main pool is great - variety of food options at dinner buffet Negatives: - breakfast / dinner / poolside service is terrible, inefficient and chaotic (tables not cleared, food not replenished, no knives and forks etc) - management issue not the fault of any of the servers - generally quite dated look to the resort - rooms are too dark - no water to shower one evening - overpriced "

"We spent 2 days at Addauro and found nearby restaurants hard to find because the Hotel was not open for dinner in the evenings. If we had a car it would have been easier, because taxis were expensive. The pool at Addauro was brilliant, the bikes not so and the tea tray per room could have included a bit more than 3 tea bags and 1 powder milk. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay, if we come back we will hire a car."

"We chose to stay at this hotel because it was just outside of town and had a pool. The ground of the hotel are beautiful, and the pool was perfect in the extreme heat. My only issue was the location. It is a 15 minute drive to the center of Siracusa, and if you don't have a car, you are forced to pay 30 euros each way. There is no public transportation, and it is very difficult to get to any of the nearby beaches on foot."
