"Decent place to stay but a bit expensive for what it is. Other surrounding hotels like Dakota were listed for cheaper. Flush didn’t work either & the woman on the phone was slightly rude. Walls were quite thin also so could hear everything going on."

"I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae."

"Fantastic stay. Stayed many times in a snug pod for business maybe 15 times a year. Tried a cabin for first time because the price was cheaper than normal. Amazing, shame its too expensive to do more often. Only downside was the wifi was hit and miss but overall very good"

"The Four Sisters was a unforgettable experience I would recommend. The location is convenient to the historical sites and museums of Edinburgh. We were fortunate to be there during the local canal festival and were able to learn more about the area and join the community. The staff was helpful and just a text away. The plumbing is a bit tricky but you are on a boat and once we got the hang of it, there were no problems"

"Prima appartement, dicht bij restaurants en supermarkt. Edinburgh castle en Royal mile op loopafstand. Wij zaten in de appartementen over de brug iets verderop. Je kunt daar wel je auto even neer zetten om uit te pakken, maar daarna moet deze achter de appartementen voor de brug bij de receptie geparkeerd worden. Dit was verder geen probleem. "This is a great little find. Perfect for a family who doesnt want to be on top of one another in a hotel. It's a little far out for a quick walk to the city center, but the area is beautiful safe and quiet. "Upon walking through the gate, trash was plied very high. When we got to the room the smell of cigarette smoke smacks you in the face. I immediately notified them via email with no answer. The couch was very warn out with pieces of the pleather flacking off and the chair had a hole in it and was very old and not comfortable. The bed was decent, however the pillows are very very flat. Oh and the blue door in the pictures, not your blue door. Also, there was pee in one of the walkways as well "
