The longest, twistiest single lane country road with flocks of bantams took 15 minutes to reach the lodge from theain A road. Crazy! "The room was clean and fresh with tea and coffee making facilities plus complimentary water which was very welcome as it was a hot day when we arrived. There is no air conditioning in the bedrooms but it was possible to open the window. The breakfast choice wasn't huge but perfectly adequate with bread and cereals and a freshly cooked hot course of our choice. Overall a really comfortable stay with a very friendly and helpful host."

"This hotel is absolutely 5 star the owners and staff are so friendly and helpful and cannot do enough for you. The rooms are soo beautiful and comfortable such attention to detail. As a vegetarian I had the vegetarian breakfast it was soo tasty I had it two days in a row I can honestly say I have never had such a good breakfast at a hotel before. Again the same goes for the evening meals. I recommend this hotel 100%. Location is perfect for discovering Ludlow and surrounding villages."
