"The location is great for visiting Acadia National Park, but overall our stay was average. The biggest issue was maintenance. Both the bathroom sink and bathtub were clogged and drained very slowly throughout our stay. Bedroom clean doesn't happen daily even we hang the please clean my room sign. Room also lacked some basic amenities that would have made it much more comfortable, such as a microwave, electric kettle, and a small desk. "Loved everything about this hotel -- location and the room itself was so cute. The only issue I had was there was some miscommunication regarding an issue we needed resolved. The reps from the hotel texted back and forth with me about it before we left, but the issue was never solved really. They did call later to try to follow up, but we were already on our way. I did appreciate the effort to follow up though. Overall, a nice place."

"I expected a better place for the amount of money we paid per night but I guess Bar Harbor is a very expensive destination. The room was ok. The shower head was broken and there was no hair dryer. Both issues were taken care right away. It was nice that they offered complementary snacks and drinks. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect. "My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Otter Creek Inn. The Only minor complaint we might have was the size of the shower in unit #5 (the only one we know about). If you are a large person that shower may present an issue. Other than that, our week there was great. Dawn, the manager was always helpful and we shared a few laughs with Evelyn over morning coffee. "We had a great trip in Bar Harbor and enjoyed our time at the hotel. It’s a little outdated in ways and the rooms had a little musty smell. We loved the view and the pool. The location was also great, just minutes from downtown!"

"This is an interesting property, just outside of Bar Harbor. The hotel has a series of separate buildings with 4 units per building. Our room had a great set -up for my family with a bedroom with 2 double beds and a bedroom with a king bed. The breakfast was decent and filling. There’s a path at the back of the property that leads to a carriage road into the park. The staff was helpful throughout our visit. We didn’t take advantage of the events but there were s’mores every evening around a fire...

"We love the staff at the property!!! Michelle at the front desk made us feel like part of the family. She made sure our every needs were fulfilled and always went out of her way to help us. Dannette is the encyclopedia of the area. She shared her knowledge of the surrounding harbors and we loved all the places off the beaten path she recommended. We normally wouldn’t stay at a motel, but we had a hard time to say goodbye at Anchorage Motel!"
