"My family and I booked this hotel as part of my sons 7th birthday and a trip to Leeds Castle. The staff had so very kindly surprised us with a birthday banner and balloons which absolutely made his day and added that special touch. We found all the staff from reception, restaurant, cleaners to be lovely, so friendly and great customer service. We will be staying again. "

"Room was terrible. Carpet was worn down to bare floor, aircon unit was held together with tape, wallpaper was peeling off all over the place and the temp control panel was like a floodlight that you couldn’t switch off. I’m sure there are some decent rooms, the hotel has some good ratings so must be ok in general but there are obviously rooms in desperate need of a refurb. "

"Room seemed liked it was recently refurbished, so was in good condition, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom. Not all areas of the hotel were in such a good condition. Our dinner in the Bar and Grill was not a good experience, with no vegan options, poor quality food, mistakes with our order, and such a long wait for our food that we were offered a free round of drinks from the bar, I wouldn't eat there again if I lived locally! There wasn't enough floor staff on duty for a very busy Saturday evening. The breakfast was fine though. Overall an ok stay, but Village Hotels would not be on my list of hotels to visit again"

"We had an amazing stay for my partners birthday. The little touches that the hotel did were so lovely. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Make sure you eat at the Korean cowgirl as it was great potion sizes and good value for money. The only thing I wish was a bit better was the spa, if it was a bit bigger and had more loungers."

"The hot tub was warm enough, but the pool with the jets on the side. When they are activated the chlorine was very strong and made our eyes sting. "
